Design your own adventure or join us on one of ours.
Pic River Guest Suites brings you some fantastic opportunities to learn, explore and revel in our wondrous backyard.
The four season playground: (just insert the word “snow shoe” where ever I have “paddle” if you are coming in the winter)
The Pic River Guest Suite is perched on the bank of the beautiful Pic River. Paddle just 5 minutes upstream and it forks off to the serene Black River. Paddle some more, to where it branches off to lead you to the Little Black River falls. Just 15 min. downstream from the Pic River Guest Suite, the river opens up to the worlds’ largest (by surface area), chlorine free, spring-fed adventure pool. We call it Gichigumee. Some also know it as Lake Superior. On the left is the northwestern edge of the world renowned Pukaskwa National Park, on the right; a wild ocean of sand dunes. Or stay closer and take a paddle boat just across the river to the numerous trails. There is a large secret cave on one of them. We could go on and on about the splendor of this place, but we would much rather show you.
